This section is mandated to perform all the Human Resource and Administration work as guided by various employment laws and regulations in Kenya.
Mawasco has 100 staff with a staff mix drawn from the former Ministry of Water and Irrigation, former Municipal Council of Karatina, former National Water Conservation & Pipeline Corporation (NWC&PC) Staff and other staff directly employed by Mawasco.
The success of the company is dependent on staff performance. The quality of work is never compromised and to ensure this as a company we continuously train our staff to ensure that we have skilled and motivated staff.
The company has team building activities where staff leaves the work environment and engages in various activities which give staff opportunity to bond and interact. We also have various games where staff practice regularly and culminate to annual sports day for all water companies.
The company has a fleet of vehicles and motor cycles which ease transportation within the company which covers Mathira East and Mathira West sub-counties.
